This is my 3rd year teaching music at Classical School.  In the past I have taught Kindergarten and 2nd grade, and this year I will be teaching Kindergarten again.  This is my 6th year teaching and my 5th year in the Appleton Area School District.  Previous years I have taught general music at Horizons, Ferber, Huntley, and Fox River Academy (grades 7/8), as well as choral music at Roosevelt Middle School.  This year I am teaching music 90% at Horizons Elementary and 10% at Classical School.  I travel on Tuesdays and Thursdays between the two schools and the rest of the days I am at Horizons.  Before coming to Appleton, I taught choral music at Webb Middle School in Reedsburg, WI.  I graduated in 2004 from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire with a bachelor degree in music education.

I live in the Darboy area with my husband, Aaron and our golden retriever, Libby.  In my spare time I love to sing and play piano, practice guitar, go on walks with my dog, scrapbook, listen to music, travel and visit friends and family.  I am also the conductor of the Senior Choir for the Appleton Boychoir.
