Hello, and welcome to my web page!  I’m Mrs. Herron and I’m the school counselor here at Classical School.  In addition to being at Classical, I will also be sharing my time with Jefferson Elementary School.  I will usually be at Classical on Tuesdays this year.  I have a Master of Arts degree in School Counseling from Lakeland College.  I also have a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work and was a medical social worker in Minnesota before moving to Appleton 13 years ago.

I’m very familiar with Classical School as I’ve been a parent at Classical since our great school opened back in 1999.  One of my children, Alaina, attends Classical in the 5th grade.  I also have two other children in Appleton schools: Zach, who is 14 and Taylor, who is a senior in high school this year.  As a family, my husband, Dan and I enjoy spending time with our children on our state’s wonderful lakes in the summer.  Although I prefer to read on my floatie, the rest of my family enjoys being on the lake as “wakeboard warriors”.

In addition to spending time with my family, I also love to garden, walk, read, and to be involved with community service opportunities.
