I am excited to serve on the Classical Charter School Association Board.  My wife Nancy and I first heard about the Classical School from friends whose children attended.  The school’s core knowledge curriculum, its dedicated and professional administrators and faculty, and its family-like atmosphere are just a few of the many strengths we have experienced at Classical.

Nancy and I have been married for 11 years and have three children. Two of them currently attend Classical School. Our son Aaron is in the second grade and our son Nathan is in the first grade. We look forward to our daughter Anya Rashi attending when she is older.

I completed my Bachelor of Music Education degree at Lawrence University in 1991.   After working as a K-12 music teacher for five years at the University School of Milwaukee, I moved to Appleton to take the position of Choral Music and Theater Director at Xavier High School. Since 1999, I have been the Worship Arts Director at Christ The Rock Community Church.

As a Board member I hope to contribute positively to the further development of the school, and to build upon the excellent efforts of the founding members, past and current Board members. There is something unique and special happening at Classical and I want to do my part to support the school’s mission and the families that attend the school.
