Patti Wilson
4th-8th Grade Strings Teacher

Ms. Wilson
I have  lived in Appleton for 40+ years.  I attended the Appleton Public Schools from 2nd -12th grade.  I graduated from Appleton East High School and taught orchestra/strings in the Appleton Public Schools for 17 years—the last 11 years at East HS along with select middle and elementary schools.

I graduated from Lawrence University with a Bachelor of Music degree in string education and continue to perform on both piano and violin for my enjoyment.

I have taught private violin/piano, played organ for church along with performing with the Fox Valley Symphony in past years.

I enjoy travel and have traveled to Africa, Japan, Australia, and the European countries.  I enjoy  warm places during spring break including St. Bartz, St Maartin, Aruba and the Dominican Republic!  This summer I went to Canada for my first fishing experience and caught a 37-inch Northern!  I enjoy playing tennis, golf, skiing, bowling, traveling, going to plays and concerts, and spending time with close friends and family.

I have two children—Philip and Julia. They both have grown up in the Appleton Public schools and studied piano, cello and violin.  Philip (29) lives in Montana and Julia (27) lives in Chicago. I have two little dogs and three cats and live in Appleton.
