Señora Sarah Ward
Classical Spanish Teacher - Kindergarten & First Grade

¡Hola!  Me llamo Señora Ward.  I grew up on a dairy farm in rural Howards Grove (near Sheboygan).  My parents, younger brother, younger sister, and I spent most of our time caring for our cows, pigs, goats, horses, chickens, cats, and dogs.

After graduation from high school in 2000, I attended Silver Lake College in Manitowoc and earned my Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education and Spanish.  I completed my student teaching placements in a first grade classroom at Jefferson Elementary in Manitowoc and in a Spanish classroom at Washington Junior High in Manitowoc.

My husband, Clint, and I moved to the Fox Valley in the summer of 2005 for my first teaching job in the Appleton Area School District.   The 2007-2008 school year will be my third year of teaching.  I will be teaching kindergarten, first and seventh grade Spanish at Classical and sixth grade Spanish at McKinley and Richmond this year.

In my spare time I enjoy cooking, gardening, camping, fishing, biking, watching my husband’s softball games, and scrapbooking.

I am looking forward to a great year at Classical!
