Notes from the Dean

Dear Classical Families—
“One aim of life is appreciation; there is no sense in not appreciating things; and there is no sense in having more of them if you have less appreciation of them.”
–G.K. Chesterton, Autobiography, 1936
Winter break is what we make it. It can be a time to consume or a time to reflect; a time to desire or a time to be content. Whatever else this season brings, it also brings us a chance to wonder at the world around us and to appreciate the time together with family and friends. I wish all of you deep wonder and appreciation this winter break. ~Nancy Fischer
