Knowledge-A-Thon – commonly referred to as “KAT” – is a fundraiser designed to help meet some of our school’s needs that are not covered by the school’s budget. KAT also enhances and reinforces our Core Knowledge curriculum in a fun and positive way for students, parents, and staff. On Friday, March 17, we will begin the fun with the KAT Kick-Off in the Forum at 1:45 pm. Parents are encouraged to attend to catch the excitement! Strings students from across the district will be participating in the Appleton Area School District’s upcoming All City Strings Festival to be held at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center on Monday, April 24th. Update from the Math & Science Educational Program Committee (EPC) The Math & Science EPC is chaired by Chris VanRyzin with Board member representation by Peter Chen, Research & Development manager at Bemis. This EPC is responsible for identifying strengths and weaknesses of the math and science programs at Classical School and recommending any changes of the curriculum or instruction materials to the CCSA board.
