Classical School Directory
Welcome back to Classical School! I am very excited for another year in 5th grade!
This year marks my eleventh year of teaching and my ninth year in the Appleton Area School District. Prior to teaching 5th grade, I taught middle school Social Studies in De Pere, WI. I was born and raised a Packers fan in Green Bay, WI and graduated from Green Bay Preble High School. I went on to graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2012 where I majored in Elementary Education and minored in Broad-field Social Science.
As a facilitator, I feel it is very important to continue growing and furthering my education to benefit the students I teach. Along with fellow AASD colleagues, I completed my Master’s Degree in Teaching and Learning through UW-Oshkosh in 2018. In addition, I continue to participate in various professional development opportunities throughout the year.
I am excited to help out with extracurricular activities here at Classical during the school year and I enjoy getting involved in the community outside of the classroom as well. In previous years, I have coached co-ed soccer and track at the middle school level along with Science Olympiad and Typing Club. In my free time, I enjoy biking, walking, and going up to our cottage in Door County. You can find me rooting for the Green Bay Packers on football game days and I love spending every minute with my husband Cale, our children, Tatum and Kason, and other family and friends.
