Classical School Directory
I am very excited to be part of the Classical family! I have been teaching at Classical since the 2020-2021 school year, but this is my 8th year teaching overall. Prior to joining the Classical staff, I taught 6th and 7th grade ELA in Rosendale. 6th grade is my favorite grade to teach, and I feel exceptionally lucky to be here!
I was born and raised in West Bend, WI where I graduated from West Bend West High School in 2011. If you’ve heard of it, it is one of the only high schools in the country that has two high schools in one building, which made my high school experience unique. Following high school, I attended UW-Oshkosh. I graduated in 2015 with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in English language arts.
Outside of school I am a bit of a homebody as I love to go on many adventures through books and movies while I spend time with my husband Scott, our daughter Valerie, and our cats Cortana, Chief, and Czar. Spending time with my family and friends is one of my favorite ways to occupy my non-teaching time. Otherwise I can be found crafting or walking around my neighborhood! I chose to move to Appleton because I absolutely love the spirit of this community. It truly feels like home!
