Mythology Club sign-ups went home October 20th and were to be returned by today, Thursday, October 27th. Wednesday meetings begin on November 9th. The theme for this year is Hercules, and members will participate in activities related to this theme and also general Greek and Roman and Norse Mythology.

While there is no outside work involved, members will take the American Classical League’s National Mythology Examination at the end of February and hopefully many will place nationally and win medals. Movies, stories, and special activities are the fun things involved in this club led by Mrs. Foley and Ms. Elms.

This year the structure of Mythology Club will differ from previous years. We will have two groups aligned by age. The 3rd -5th graders will meet weekly on Wednesdays to practice the material while 6th -8 th graders will use Google Classroom. There will be an informational meeting for all 6th -8th graders November 2nd after school in Mrs. Foley’s classroom. Please review the sign-ups for more information regarding each group for Mythology Club. Questions will be addressed and information will be sent with students that sign up, so all participants and their parents understand the changes to this club this year.
