Classical School Directory

I am beyond excited to be an “official” member of the Classical School staff this year. As a substitute teacher for the past few years, I had the opportunity to work with students across all grade levels and experience Classical’s rich curriculum first-hand. While I thoroughly enjoyed my time subbing, I couldn’t pass up the chance to work with our students on a daily basis in my new role as Student Support Specialist.
I grew up right here in Appleton, attending Franklin and Highlands Elementary Schools, Wilson Junior High School, and Appleton West High School. Upon graduation from high school, I attended Marquette University, where I majored in Psychology and earned my Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. I moved to Minnesota, met my husband, and worked as a PT for about ten years until shortly after the first of our three children was born.
My entrance into the classroom coincided with our youngest child’s preschool years. I worked as the assistant teacher at his preschool for four years, and then the pandemic hit. With our kids schooling from home, I decided to obtain my substitute teaching license. I worked as a full-time sub as students returned to in-person school for the second semester. By the end of that school year, Classical felt like home.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy reading, baking, and exercising. I can most often be found at a pool somewhere in Wisconsin, as all three of our children swim competitively, and I absolutely love supporting their passion.
I am honored to be a part of the incredible staff at Classical, to spend my days immersed in the same environment as my kids, and to have the opportunity to work with so many amazing students each and every day.
